OASIS OF TIOUT
TIOUT is classified as one of the most beautiful oases in the region of the mountains AL-QUSOUR.
it is considered one of the masterpieces of desert tourism in Algeria. it is characterized by the springs of water that spring from the ground and the many types of dates.
It is considered an open museum steeped in history and a space that encompasses many natural qualities and geographical and climatic diversity.
TIOUT is classified under RAMSAR agreement No. 1300 on 04/06/2003 with an estimated area of 195,500 hectares as an oasis with brackish and fresh water characteristics and environmental characteristics such as palm, reed and tamarisk.
This region is known for the development of agricultural activity and livestock.
Proposed as a tourist expansion zone with an area of 20 hectares
